Description:
This process is installed together with the Windows operating system. The process is used to load/stop a service instance, return information about all running services on the device, return the handle to a service instance based on its prefix, create a new instance of a service, listen on the specified socket address and map network requests on the socket to the specified service instance, close the specified port listening on the super server etc. However, the process with the same name is launched by many trojans and viruses such as W32.Randex.R, Sober.P, Sober.S/V Trojans.
