Description:
This process is installed together with the Windows operating system. Is essential for functioning of Indexing Service. It tracks how much memory is needed for the Content Index Service (CIDAEMON.exe), and in case of necessity it ends this process. If the Indexing Service components consume a considerable amount of system resources, this service can be disabled in the Add and Remove Programs menu (uncheck the Index Service item in Windows Components menu). The process is system and is not dangerous, that is why it is not recommended to terminate this process unless absolutely necessary.
